Spring is a great time for permanent cosmetics. Most people are more active in the warmer weather and engage in many outdoor activities. Having permanent makeup allows you to swim, bike, hike, picnic etc. without having to worry about your makeup smearing or coming off.
Eyebrows frame the eyes and have a dramatic effect on our appearance. If the hair is sparse in this area many people feel the need to use pencil or powder to fill in and add shape to frame the eye. Even if you are an artist or are really good with makeup this can prove to be a very difficult and tedious task. Even when you are able to make the brows look great, life gets in the way and can wipe them off. Eyeliner can make the lashes look much thicker and enhance the appearance of our eyes by making them look more open or brighter. Warm weather activities can make it hard to keep the eyeliner from smudging or getting washed away.
Permanent makeup, also known as micropigmentation, can be the answer to these problems. Please call for information and come in for a free consultation to see if permanent cosmetic are right for you.
How does it work? A numbing agent is used on the treated area and a digital pen device is used to implant natural looking pigment into the dermal layer of the skin. Your body will encapsulate the pigment and hold it in place, much like a tattoo.
How much does it cost? Eyebrows are $400. Eyeliner ( top and bottom) is $400. This price includes 2 visits which are required to complete your procedure.
What if I’m scared? Most people are at least a little apprehensive, that is normal. Having permanent makeup is an important decision and it should not be made without a thorough consultation and a full understanding of what to expect. At La’Derma you will be sure to receive a detailed description of the process and full support for insuring the best possible outcome.
